USING NLP WITH CHILDREN - By Elizabeth Payea-Butler

HERE IS A PLACE you could begin:

EYE ACCESSING CUES

WHEN I AM WORKING WITH CHILDREN, eye-accessing cues are called "Brain Pointers" and are used to recall information required to complete homework assignments quickly and easily instead of the old, "I forgot what the teacher said" line.

IMAGINE HOW EASY IT IS to ace a spelling test when they can see the words written on the board, even after the words have been rubbed off.  I once worked with a student whose teacher wrote the spelling words on the board each Monday. The students would copy the words into their notebooks and study them all week for a test on Friday.

AFTER EXPLAINING BRAIN POINTERS and with a little practice of "follow my hand", the student spelled every word correctly. A simple and easy way to enhance the confidence of any child.

AND WHAT ABOUT ANCHORING?  What a super way to teach children to maintain their own states so they won't get caught up in the ADD/Ritalin thing.

NOW I KNOW MANY OF YOU can see where to go from here with "Brain Pointers" and Anchoring, (was that upper left or right). Go for it!

INVEST TIME WITH YOUR Children today because the return on this investment has unlimited possibilities.
